About Mobiliti

Mobiliti is a regional scale transportation modeling system. It is an agent-based model that uses a parallel discrete event simulator on High Performance Computing systems. It ingests a road network and a travel demand model to produce a temporal representation of the traffic dynamics. The routing algorithm for generating the dynamics is a shortest travel time route, and a portion of the population is given the ability to dynamically route when the vehicle starts to experience delays from congestion. The travel demand model is created from the SFCTA Champ6 model, which is a tour-based model.
